Position: Quality Engineer at Collins Aerospace

Job Description:
- Responsible for enhancing manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and test processes to prevent defects and ensure top-notch quality for customers.
- Provide quality engineering support, conduct technical investigations, root cause analysis, and implement solutions to boost quality, cost efficiency, and delivery.
- Strong communication and computer skills required for summarizing complex issues into executive-level presentations.
- Location: Onsite role at Fairchild Road, Winston-Salem, NC.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Review and recommend Quality Assurance plans and processes.
- Conduct Quality Assurance processes to drive continuous quality improvement.
- Analyze production processes, propose quality enhancements, and collect quality information for strategy development.
- Implement quality improvement processes to reduce costs and non-conformances.
- Experience with SAP system for MRB transactions.
- Support Receiving Inspection per engineering drawings and specifications.

Basic Qualifications:
- Requires University Degree and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience without a degree.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior quality experience in manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Material Review Board and aerospace industry standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOM structure.
