Role: Quality Assurance Inspector (Interior Cabin Components)

Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week (subject to production demands)
Job Responsibilities: The Quality Assurance Inspector will conduct visual and dimensional evaluations on manufactured components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Inspections will be performed in accordance with engineering specifications, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and relevant specifications. The inspector will be responsible for communicating inspection results directly to the client through a web-based application.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess hands-on experience in conducting in-process and final inspections on intricate machined components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Inspections will adhere to engineering requirements as outlined by ANSI Y14.5 – Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) or equivalent standards. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and purchase orders is essential. Experience with various mechanical inspection instruments, including micrometers and calipers, is required. Familiarity with First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 standards is necessary. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of inspection experience in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing and should be adept in using Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidates should be technologically proficient and possess a personal laptop for this role. Relocation assistance is not available.
