Job Summary:

Pratt & Whitney is leading a transformation effort to deliver greater employee, customer and shareholder value by using Agile and Lean techniques and tools. This role will lead these transformation efforts, and coordinate across company groups to drive change.

In this role you will lead the Machine Tool Services (MTS) Team as it relates to support of manufacturing operations in East Hartford J&K buildings. This includes preventive maintenance planning and execution, along with rapid response to unplanned machine downtime or facilities issues within the HSMC-S facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with Business Unit Leaders on PM scheduling for all equipment

Align MTS resources with MTS Dept supervisors to insure coverage for critical equipment .

Promote the use of data driven root cause and corrective action tool usage to support the module center's CORE goals, and machine uptime/OEE improvements.

Effectively manage the MTS capital blanket and spares parts budget

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Masters Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles (e.g. lean manufacturing, CORE, QCPC)

Leadership experience with direct supervisory experience of a large scope

Experience with project planning to influence business objectives

Additional Information:

Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

What is my role type?

In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. Weve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the companys performance.
