ROLE SUMMARY:
Natera is currently looking for a Clinical Laboratory Associate 1 responsible for analyzing laboratory specimens, ensuring equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts patient sample testing following standard procedures with high accuracy
- Maintains knowledge of lab methods and practices
- Ensures a clean and organized work environment
- Identifies and reports equipment malfunctions and protocol deviations
- Communicates effectively with team and departments
- Collaborates with supervisors on daily tasks
- Upholds professional conduct and departmental expectations
- Handles PHI in various forms and complies with training requirements
- Performs additional assigned duties
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a biological science or related field
- 0-2 years of industry experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
- Proficient in word processing and data management
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Lab-based duties in a BSL-2 setting
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
