Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Procurement Contracts Specialist, you will support the regional and global buying strategy for one or more spend categories:
marketing, data acquisition, professional services, and IT.

The role requires the successful candidate to partner with the buyer to prepare, coordinate, and manage our supplier contracts:

Identification of the engagement riskReview existing contract documents to determine fit for purposeIdentification and generation of all required contracting documentsRedline, edit, draft contractual and other documents to meet Experians commercial contracting standards and supporting supplier negotiationAct as project manager for coordination with the buyer, various stakeholders, and subject matter experts in the legal, compliance, product, third party risk, and finance departments, and drive transactions to successful completion within the required time frameProvide key milestone updates to stakeholders on contracting progressResponsible for enforcing and documenting approval for non-standard terms and pricingAdvise management on contractual terms and risksOperate independently on most matters, with sound judgement in ambiguous situations, amongst competing prioritiesWork across multiple businesses, teams, and time-zonesMaintain key work activities in Experians toolsBuild positive relationships with buyers and internal stakeholdersPromote a high-level customer experienceQualifications:QualificationsWhat your background looks likeMust be located in Southern California or Allen, TXBusiness related Bachelors degree required, advanced degrees (JD) a plus3+ years relevant contracting or relevant work experienceExperience with data privacy laws, a plusAbility to build positive and professional relationships, internally and externallyGood understanding of general commercial contract lawStrong project management skillsSound judgement and able to make decisions quicklyCan-do attitude, results driven and resourcefulExperience with Ariba Contracts, an advantage but not necessaryAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines._Experian is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
