Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Mandatory: Completion of a formal MA training program or an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma
  • Experience
    • Essential: No prior experience required
    • Preferred: Background in a healthcare environment, particularly in an ambulatory clinic
  • Skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
    • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
    • Proficient in basic computer skills
    • Ability to follow directions and work under supervision
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Mandatory: Certification recognized by CoxHealth (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or LPN)
    • American Heart Association BLS certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire
