We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist III to join our team. As a key member of our invasive cardiology team, you will assist physicians with complex procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians with invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures
- Monitor patient response to procedures, maintain sterile fields, and interpret diagnostic data
- Operate equipment that produces ionizing radiation
- Support education, training, quality improvement, and research processes in the department
- Rotate to perform multiple functional skill sets in various diagnostic or interventional case types
- Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science, or completion of a certificate/training program
- 4 years of experience in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role
- Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice
- Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification from ARRT or certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
