Description

Position Purpose

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in the company, focusing on the full spectrum of talent acquisition activities. This includes sourcing, evaluating, hiring, and handling the necessary procedures for placement in open roles across the organization. To excel in this role, a deep understanding of interviewing techniques, a comprehensive grasp of all company functions, a fundamental knowledge of the organizational structure, and strict compliance with organizational policies and procedures regarding employment regulations are essential.

Tasks
  • Enable HRIS procedures related to authorized job requisitions and hiring intentions.
  • Manage, track, and update applicant information and status in the company's applicant tracking system within the HRIS.
  • Utilize HRIS effectively to screen and recommend candidates to hiring managers for interviews.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define the optimal recruitment approach for each position.
  • Serve as a bridge between internal and external talent acquisition partners.
  • Ensure candidate information is up-to-date in HRIS to promptly inform hiring managers and the management team of crucial recruitment developments (start dates, requisition details, IT needs, etc.).
  • Utilize HRIS for comprehensive talent acquisition analytics and key performance indicators reporting.
  • Implement recruitment strategies to meet staffing requirements.
  • Contact applicants to provide updates on their application status.
  • Cultivate and maintain professional liaisons with educational institutions to attract qualified candidates.
  • Facilitate the seamless integration of vital talent acquisition partnerships with the company's HRIS.
  • Coordinate and participate in job/career fairs with appropriate personnel to attract qualified candidates.
  • Offer insights on company operations and job prospects to potential candidates.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for applicants when needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Years of Experience: 1-3 Years of direct talent acquisition experience accompanied by continuous professional and personal growth. Exposure to the Freight Forwarding / 3PL industry is advantageous.

Proficiency in Paycom Talent Acquisition (Applicant Tracking/Candidate Tracker) system is a plus though not mandatory.

Education: Industry-related degree and/or certification
