The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting both short and long-term financial planning. You will interact across multiple functions within the HVACR Americas business to compile and analyze inputs for key Copeland reporting requirements, such as Annual Operating Plan, Long Range Plan, Monthly and Quarterly results.

AS A BUSINESS FINANCE MANAGER YOU WILL:
  • Provide analysis and assist with the development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan, Quarterly and Monthly forecast/targets.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Analysis team to enhance the current Line of Business P&L reports to improve accuracy and timeliness.
  • Work with the Commercial and Residential Line of Business teams to provide margin expansion/value creation on products, market influences, pricing and cost reductions.
  • Research the drivers behind fluctuations in Gross and Operating profit margins, versus the Prior Year, AOP, and Prior Qtr. Forecast.
  • Explore New Technologies/Sigma/Power BI to improve accuracy, timeliness, and automate financial processes to meet the business needs.
  • Participate in department and/or cross-functional projects and provide other ad-hoc analysis as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field plus three (5) years of relevant experience
  • The candidate should possess knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of data downloads, complex formulas, and pivot tables
  • Must have the ability to meet strict deadlines and balance multiple priorities
  • Must have strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management software
  • Prior experience with Oracle applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Power Point) including advanced functions
  • CPA and/or CMA certification(s)
  • Knowledge of HVACR industry
Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option and Core Hours
This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
