Responsibilities Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration.
Greet patients and visitors, respond to questions/concerns and directs them to appropriate location.
Provide on-going communication with clinical staff regarding patient status.
Collect and enter all necessary demographic, clinical, billing and insurance information from patients or responsible parties.

Explain processes and forms to patients prior to securing signatures and ensure that all documents are properly signed and witnessed as required.

Determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles.

Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Previous education in medical terminology strongly preferred.

Work Experience:
Experience in the job related field preferred.
