Entegris is seeking a Process Engineer (Engineer II) to join our team in Bedford, MA. Our team supplies critical materials to the ultra-high purity semiconductor market. Our technology enables the latest chip technology and its applications, including IoT, AI, machine learning and 5G. Specifically, we make products that filter and purify process chemistries used in semi processing. Demand for our products is rising rapidly and we are looking for someone who can help us meet the needs of our customers.

In this role you will carry out:

  • Lab scale formulation and preparation of polymer solutions for membrane casting
  • Lab scale fabrication of membranes by hand-cast immersion precipitation process
  • Characterization of hand-cast membranes in terms of permeability, pore size, retention, morphology, etc
  • Pilot scale development of membranes on the immersion cast pilot line
  • Characterization of the developed pilot line membranes

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • BS or MS in chemical engineering, chemistry, or material science
  • BS & 3-5 years of relevant experience or MS & 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Capability of rational thinking
  • Motivation and passion to learn

  • Willingness to perform hands on experiments in lab environment.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively while thinking independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and analytical problem-solving skills
