**Description**

POSITION PURPOSE:

This management position is responsible for the facilitation of a high performance branch operation and facility. The Branch Manager is expected to direct warehouse operations and labor efficiently to meet on time customer deliveries. In addition, the position oversees the inside sales/account management function while ensuring business to business sales of distribution products, custom fabrication and machining and turn-key systems.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for managing and growing existing customer accounts.

Identifying and developing new business.

Communicate in a professional and effective manner, in accordance with company guidelines, with all customers and potential customers.

Works closely with customer service and other departments to assure quality, service, price and delivery.

Display and demonstrates products, using samples, vendors, websites, presentations, etc.

Completes a written sales call report to sales manager weekly, detailing customer information and activities.

Maintains awareness of new and existing products & capabilities offered for sale by the company.

Communicate and work with vendors to develop new business.

Follow up on leads.

Works closely with their inside representative on all aspects of customer quotes, pricing, leads, sales and activities.

Communicate competitive information with sales manager, other sales reps and inside group.

Prepares a sales forecast yearly or as requested.

Manages the inventory, employees and all aspects of the branch.

Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and firing of employees at the branch.

Maintain a neat, clean and organized branch.

Adhere to and promote all company standards and policies.

Perform special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required:

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Previous relevant sales and leadership experience.

Preferred:

Previous experience in and familiarity with the plastics industry.
