Summit Federal Services, LLC (SFS) with headquarters in Oakland, Maryland, is a fast growing woman owned Small Business and HUBZone company with an outstanding record of performance providing more effective and efficient acquisition, business process, training, IT, administrative and security services to multiple federal agencies.

SFS is looking for an Human Resources Assistant preferably bi-lingual in Spanish to support one of their clients located in Boston MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting orientation sessions up to three times a week during busy seasons, managing immigration and I-9 documentation. This role requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals. This position would be a direct hire with the client. The client is a large employer with room for advancement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new hires up to three times a week during peak periods.
  • Manage immigration documentation and ensure compliance with I-9 requirements.
  • Utilize Workday, Ultipro, and Kronos for various HR tasks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all employees and new hires.
  • Support and assist with other HR-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in a second language (Spanish or Creole) is preferred but not required.
  • Computer skills, including familiarity with Excel.
  • Experience with HR software such as Workday, Ultipro, and Kronos is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience working with diverse populations.
  • Strong facilitation skills and the ability to effectively present information.
Work Schedule/Pay
5 days of week two days in office and 3 remote.
23$ per hour
