- Dialysis Patient Coordination:
- Schedule and arrange appointments for dialysis patients.
Cooperate with dialysis units for smooth patient transitions and timely treatments.
Act as the primary point of contact for dialysis patients, addressing their inquiries and issues.
Communication with Healthcare Providers:- Work with nephrologists to ensure care plans and schedules are aligned.
Effectively communicate with hospitals to plan dialysis-related procedures and treatments.
Facilitate transparent communication between the patient and healthcare providers.
Scheduling Hospital Procedures for Vascular Surgeon:- Coordinate and schedule hospital procedures for our vascular surgeon.
Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing vascular procedures.
Ensure resources are used efficiently and procedures are completed promptly.
Patient Advocacy and Support:- Show empathy and understanding when interacting with dialysis patients.
Advocate for patient preferences during the scheduling and coordination process.
Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in patient scheduling in a medical setting is crucial.
Understanding of dialysis procedures, terminology, and relevant healthcare practices.
Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient-focused healthcare coordination.
Proficiency in pertinent software and scheduling applications.
Education and Experience:
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.
