Are you ready to take on a challenging leadership role? Look no further We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to provide exceptional leadership and direction for our manufacturing unit or operation.

As the leader of our team, you will have the opportunity to oversee a staff of Supervisors and individual contributors, managing a team of up to 20 employees. Your main responsibilities will include interpreting site directives and establishing a manufacturing supply plan that effectively meets production, quality, safety, and financial objectives. Responsibilities:

+ Manage manufacturing demand requests and coordinate cross functional evaluations to ensure commitments can be met.

+ Manage material demand development, procurement and release on timelines to support manufacturing.

+ Actively balance assurance of supply with responsible distressed inventory control practices.

+ Continuously evolve and improve supply chain business processes.

+ Provide input to and implement operational and financial goals and objectives for the supply chain planning team. Track and trend performance levels and maximize the operations.

+ Recommend and implement ideas to reduce costs, adapt and transform the organization to meet changing business needs.

+ Assist teams in troubleshooting procurement and release issues. Ensure staff is provided technical knowledge and training to efficiently execute their expectations.

+ Collaborate with peers and cross-functional partners to synthesize action plans, timelines and budgets to meet project and product goals.

+ Develop and manage staff through hiring, managing performance, developing talent and providing clear expectations.

+ Measure batch release KPIs and escalate risks to on time delivery.

+ Manage the employee relations climate to ensure that our AbbVie Way is realized, and an environment exists where all employees have the opportunity to develop to their maximum potential.

+ Coach supervisors and coordinators in the area and establish clear expectations with them and all employees regarding responsibilities, goals and behaviors and champion and model exceptional AbbVie performance and talent management practices.

Qualifications

+ Bachelors Degree required in a technical field: Advanced degree in a technical field preferred.

+ A minimum of seven (7) years of GMP pharmaceutical related experience including work as an individual contributor building technical expertise and proved project management skills.

+ At least five (5) years in a managerial position as supervisor/ leader of diverse teams in Operations (Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering etc.)

+ Knowledge of biologics manufacturing processes preferred.

+ Business acumen coupled with functional leadership experience is required to ensure effective direction in a complex organization.
