Facilities Management Specialist

Overview:

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (EDOS-(phone number removed):
Bowhead is seeking a Facilities Management Specialist to develop work schedules and gives work assignments to subordinates.

Will work with other team members engaged in facility maintenance functions, including painting projects, performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings; and maintaining and repairing building utility systems, such as electrical wiring and controls, heating and ventilating systems.

Additional responsibilities to include operation and maintenance of waterworks system, and ensures adequate water supply for human consumption, industrial, or agricultural use.

Set up, operate, monitor, modify, and calibrate computer systems and devices for acquisition and analysis of data. Will install, service, and repair mechanical equipment. Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies. Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Requires an Associates Degree and two (2) plus years of of relevant professional experience

Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Requires the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Work in all weather conditions, Hot and Loud Environments

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
