Job Title: Test Technician II Duration: 6 Months Location: Hillsboro, OR Job type: Contract Work type: Onsite Shift: 02:00 PM to 10:30 PM

What will you do?

  • Perform testing using specified methods and work instructions
  • Collect and analyze test data to make informed decisions
  • Assist in setting up specialized equipment
  • Identify and troubleshoot problems efficiently
  • Conduct machine set-up, calibration, and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure operability by rebuilding manufacturing equipment when necessary

How will you get here? Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Preferably a 2-year technical degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Military Technical Training can be considered as an alternative to a technical degree

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing/electronics testing experience preferred
  • Previous use of test equipment like Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Chart Recorders
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Windows-based programs and MS Office applications
  • Encouragement for Military Veterans to apply

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to read and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical assemblies
  • Experience working effectively in a team environment
  • Comfortable working in a clean room using proper PPE
  • Follow detailed instructions and complete tasks accurately
  • Analyze and solve problems independently or collaboratively
  • Support projects, provide training, and work well in teams
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Able to lift up to 35lbs
