Avionics Technician Job Description

Orion Talent is seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, adjusting, and repairing avionics equipment in aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test avionics equipment to ensure accuracy and airworthiness
  • Repair or replace defective components based on analysis of test results
  • Lay out installation of aircraft assemblies and systems, following documentation
  • Calibrate installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications
  • Keep records of maintenance and repair work
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Valid U.S./state issued driver's license with clean driving record
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • FCC General Radio Operator License
  • Airframe and Powerplant License
  • Garmin experience
  • Corridor and maintenance/parts manual access software
