Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for electronics and music to take on the role of Technical Support Specialist. This position will involve collaborating with our Technical Service and Engineering teams to address and resolve technical inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair electronic circuits and audio components.
- Interpret and analyze schematic diagrams and engineering documentation.
- Utilize testing equipment to diagnose and resolve issues with circuits, components, and PCA boards.
- Employ soldering techniques to repair intricate components on PCA boards.
- Provide technical assistance to field technicians in diagnosing and repairing complex electronic systems.
- Support the installation of audio systems by delivering clear written and verbal instructions.
- Develop and document technical guidelines and procedures.
- Record test outcomes, parts usage, and other relevant data.
- Identify and pursue projects or services that are necessary for operational efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with team members across Technical Support, Engineering, and Production departments.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Electronics/Electrical Technology or a related discipline.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electronic schematic diagrams.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
- Understanding of power supply circuits and electronic components.
- Knowledge of audio systems and both digital and analog electronics.
- Experience with soldering for the repair or installation of electronic components.
- Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation.
- Strong customer relations and technical support capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with electronic musical instruments.
- Knowledge of audio/sound systems, including amplifiers and speakers.
- Background in electronic instrument design.
- Musical knowledge or experience.
- Proficiency in writing and editing HTML code.
- Experience with Microsoft Office/365.
- Fluency in English.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
