This individual contributor role will involve developing and managing PR initiatives, enhancing our brand image, and driving engagement across various social media platforms.
For the first year, you will work independently with the potential to build and develop a team over time. Additionally, you will manage external agencies to ensure seamless execution of our global PR and social media strategies.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR and social media strategies to elevate Allegro's brand visibility and reputation globally.
- Plan, develop, and implement PR and social media campaigns aligning with marketing and HR goals.
- Create and execute engaging press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials.
- Identify opportunities for proactive PR and social activities, including support for topical news stories.
- Create, curate, and schedule compelling content for Allegro's social media platforms to drive engagement, ensuring consistency in voice and brand messaging.
- Manage relationships with media, industry influencers, stakeholders, and external agencies.
- Develop and implement an employee social media advocacy strategy.
- Monitor media coverage and social media channels, providing regular analytics reports and insights, as well as contributing to social listening with relevant responses.
- Manage submission of speaker proposals, product reviews, and awards.
- Maintain and update the press section of the company website.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align PR and social media efforts with broader marketing and business goals.
- Plan and coordinate global press events, interviews, and other public-facing activities.
- Assist with messaging and content for internal and external executive leadership needs, including earnings script preparation, board meetings, town halls, analyst events, and other activities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging social media platforms to keep Allegro at the forefront of digital communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in public relations and social media management, preferably within a global, B2B, publicly traded organization.
- Proven track record of planning and developing successful global PR campaigns and social media strategies.
- Excellent knowledge of B2B social media strategies for LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Familiarity with platforms in China such as WeChat.
- Experience managing social channels and connections, including the use of tools like Sprout Social.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and best practices.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with media and industry professionals.
- Experience managing external agencies to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategies.
- Ability to identify opportunities for proactive PR and social activities.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor and communicate brand, PR, and social media results effectively.
