We are seeking a Manager of International Trade Compliance to lead investigations into potential breaches of trade control regulations and company policies. This role involves collaborating with Trade Counsel to oversee investigations and prepare comprehensive reports and disclosures for submission to government authorities. Additionally, you will play a vital role in promoting a culture of compliance within the Global Trade sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee internal investigations related to regulatory and policy infractions in Global Trade compliance, including ITAR, EAR, US CBP, OFAC, ATF, and Antiboycott.
  • Manage and assess legal approval requests.
  • Provide consistent guidance on ITAR, EAR, USCBP, OFAC, ATF, and Antiboycott regulations to business unit personnel.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Export/Import Regulations.
  • Deliver Global Trade insights on processes, policies, and compliance matters to the Global Trade team and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure the completion of corrective actions and process enhancements.
  • Innovate and monitor Key Performance Indicators related to violation trends and risk areas.
  • Develop and propose new processes in response to regulatory changes and corporate initiatives.
  • Participate in Corporate Steering Committees/Task Teams to influence policy and process modifications.
  • Engage in Corporate Global Trade projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • A University Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in Global Trade, legal, business, contracts, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record in process improvement initiatives and system efficiencies.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for security clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of AECA, ITAR, and EAR regulations.
  • Understanding of USML and CCL classification processes, along with export and import regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with Global Trade licensing protocols.
  • Extensive experience applying regulations in high-volume environments.
  • Current DoD Security Clearance.
  • Experience with international trade regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, capable of working under pressure, both collaboratively and independently.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and a desire to learn.
  • Familiarity with SNAP-R, OCR, DECCS, and/or SAP/GTS systems.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
