Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee internal investigations concerning regulatory and policy infractions related to Global Trade compliance, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC.
  • Manage legal approval requests and ensure consistent interpretation of trade regulations for business unit personnel.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Export/Import Regulations.
  • Provide guidance on Global Trade processes, policies, and compliance matters to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the resolution of corrective actions and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Innovate and monitor Key Performance Indicators related to compliance trends and risk areas.
  • Develop new processes in response to regulatory changes and corporate directives.
  • Participate in Corporate Steering Committees to influence policy and process modifications.
  • Engage in corporate Global Trade projects.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A University Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in Global Trade, legal, business, contracts, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and enhancing operational efficiencies.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of AECA, ITAR, and EAR regulations.
  • Familiarity with USML and CCL classification processes.
  • Experience with Global Trade licensing requirements.
  • Strong application of regulations in high-volume environments.
  • Current DoD Security Clearance.
  • Experience with international trade regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to embrace challenges and take on new responsibilities.
