Analyst Sales Strategy & Planning
Position Summary: The SS&P analyst will provide analytical support within the Retail Poultry SS&P team. This position collaborates across cross-functional teams including Sales, Demand Planning and the Business Unit. The SS&P analyst is responsible for weekly reporting, as well as providing analysis/insights on category initiatives, volume, and share trends. By analyzing and synthesizing data from various sources, this individual will enable identification of business issues & opportunities to help the teams make better decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Synthesize information from various sources including syndicated data, internal shipment data, competitive intelligence, etc. and investigate anomalies to create business insights and make recommendations. Deliver findings to SS&P team and cross functional team members to influence outcomes. Standardize weekly reporting and identify opportunities to streamline and automate reporting for increased efficiency. Perform ad-hoc analysis leveraging shipment and/or syndicated data to make recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years or relevant experience
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience in customer trade marketing, sales, analytics, category management, or Trade Finance preferred.
- Computer Skills: Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI preferred. Expert level ability to retrieve and connect data from various sources ex. Nielsen, SAP, IBP, etc.
- Special Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with internal partners across the team, sales organization, and business unit. Desire to take ownership of the task at hand. Multi-tasking and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
- Travel: 1-2 trips per year
