About the role


As a CBRE Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective planning of maintenance work orders with the objective of improving technician wrench-time and minimizing client business interruptions for a growing 24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Work order planning will consist of, but not limited to, safety & environment requirements, materials & kitting, specialty tools, job plan/task(s), & required labor/resources.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What you'll do

  • Reviews & plans work to be performed (consult with client, leads, supervisors, originator, production supervisors and other planner/schedulers as necessary).
  • Scope and prioritize all information, parts, tools, job plans, drawings & special procedures required for the craftsperson to perform the work.
  • Resolves and identifies labor and skills required to self-perform the work or if external support (subcontractors) is required.
  • Keeps accurate Key Performance Metrics on the performance of planning functions and provide timely reports to the Site Manager as required.
  • Continuously improves the job packages by receiving feedback from technicians, supervisors, engineers, and client staff.
  • Create purchase orders and maintain accurate and timely receipting. Manage annual purchase orders & daily invoicing.
  • Using your experience and skills determine time estimates for reactive/corrective work orders.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
What you'll need


High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with at least 3 years of relevant planning & scheduling experience with-in a CMMS platform (Maximo preferred).


Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.

Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic equipment parts and manufacturing equipment.

Demonstrated competence with computers experience with MS Office is necessary.

Knowledge and experience with Health, Safety & Environment and regulatory requirements.

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Ability to professional communicate with vendor(s) regarding purchase orders and invoicing.

Ability to prioritize projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion.

Strive for continuous improvement for processes, procedures, job plans, Preventative maintenance, and more.

Ability to read standard blueprints, machine, and P&ID drawings. Ability to sketch or redline existing drawings.
