Job Summary:

The Mini Storage Center is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Maintenance Independent Contractor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Maintenance: Clean vacant units, wire and mount camera and networking equipment, maintain golf carts, gates operators and keypads, and other equipment.
  • Supply Management: Monitor maintenance supply inventory for re-ordering and keep stock organized in supply rooms.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Pick up trash around property, pressure washing, inspect, clean, and replace signage.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Clean and mop hallways, cut and grind locks, transport supplies among the Charlotte locations.

Requirements:

  • Licenses and Insurance: Must be licensed and insured.
  • Availability: Must be available to work during standard office hours (M-F: 8:30am - 5:30pm, Sat: 8:30am - 3pm, Sun: Closed).

Compensation: The maintenance independent contractor position pay range is from $20/hr to $30/hr depending on skill level and experience.

Qualifications:

  • Positive Attitude: Must have a positive, energetic attitude and be honest.
