Accessory Production Planner

Position Summary:

The Accessory Production Planner will play a critical role in the planning and scheduling of accessory production within our manufacturing operations. This position requires a blend of hands-on mechanical assembly skills and the ability to analyze basic manufacturing principles.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage material flow to ensure timely availability of components for production.
  • Communicate effectively with department heads to understand production needs and constraints.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of assembly tasks.
  • Utilize data from BigCommerce and other systems to inform production planning decisions.
  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks with good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Collect and analyze data to generate key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to the organization.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Good manual dexterity and adeptness at mechanical assembly.
  • Proficiency in inventory management.
  • Effective communication skills to convey departmental needs.
  • Experience with production planning and scheduling.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills/Bonus Experience:

  • Experience using and collecting data from BigCommerce.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Ability to collect and present KPIs to the organization.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment building complex assemblies.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Manual dexterity for using hands or fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls is frequently required. Specific vision abilities necessary for this role include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
