When you join the Caterpillar Oil & Gas and Marine Division (COGMD), you're joining a global team that helps to power the global energy industry as well as provide power and propulsion on the water.

COGMD is looking for a Senior Talent Management Partner to collaborate with the business on key talent initiatives. As the Senior Talent Management Partner, you'll design and implement comprehensive, targeted development programs and resources that enable employees to achieve their potential and career goals. From learning design to consultative advisement, this multifaceted role requires a creative thinker with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Design, coordinate, and facilitate programming for addressing professional skill gaps and development areas for employees at various levels
  • Craft and maintain talent resources and offerings within and outside of our LMS
  • Serve as divisional contact and thought leader for Enterprise talent programs, providing support that aligns to best-in-class solutions
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing curriculum/learning solutions and recommending appropriate approaches for scaling and/or improvement
    •Facilitate change management initiatives associated with talent management activities.
  • Research, source and partner with external partners to develop solutions for key talent needs
What You Will Have:

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on People data and informed judgment.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Leadership Development: Knowledge of leadership development methods, tools, and techniques; ability to design and implement leadership development programs.

Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

Training and Development: Knowledge of adult learning theory; ability to ensure training is customized to target population to meet both tactical and strategic objectives.
