RESPONSIBILITIES
The HR Business Partner plays a crucial role within the Global Human Resources Function. Collaborating closely with HR Leadership, Global and Geozone HR Business Partners, and other HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), the Senior Human Resources Lead serves as an embedded HR partner with designated business clients. This role involves working closely with assigned line managers and employees to anticipate and address HR-related needs while acting as a consultant to management on HR matters. The position requires maintaining a solid understanding of the company's financial results, business plans, culture, and competitive landscape. Responsibilities encompass a variety of HR functions, including but not limited to generalist duties, staffing, employee relations, training and development, compensation, performance management, and organizational health/culture.
Roles & Responsibilities
QUALITY
- Familiarize oneself with the Company's Quality policies and actively participate in the compliance and enhancement of Weatherford's Management System.
- Prioritize service quality across all business areas and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and minimal oversight from Corporate HR Leadership to effectively meet organizational needs.
- Provide guidance and coaching on HR policies and procedures to line managers and stakeholders.
- Regularly evaluate and update HR-related policies, procedures, and documentation, including job descriptions.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Support change management initiatives and relevant company/function transformation projects.
- Negotiate priorities and support requirements with cross-functional teams based on business and resource needs.
- Offer guidance on business unit restructures, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning in collaboration with the relevant COE.
- Lead the execution of HR projects within assigned functions, ensuring alignment with key business strategies.
- Manage all employee life-cycle activities for specifically assigned employee groups.
- Ensure HR data management accuracy and confidentiality, implementing audits and updates as necessary.
- Collaborate with Geozone-based HR colleagues for oversight of employee populations in their respective areas.
- Work on function projects that can be executed on a global scale.
- Analyze data trends and metrics to assess and anticipate business risks, partnering with HR COEs to develop and deploy recommended solutions, programs, and policies.
- Conduct regular meetings with assigned client groups, providing appropriate HR guidance and collaboration on relevant business and workforce priorities.
- Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders, both internal and, where appropriate, external.
- Assist in evaluating compensation and make recommendations linked to cost control and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with management and HR COE partners to develop suitable compensation strategies based on function, geography, and external market factors.
- Work closely with management and employees to enhance work relationships, boost morale, and improve productivity and retention.
- Support line management in managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, coordinating with the Employee Relations Director as needed.
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations for assigned cases, ensuring fairness at all times.
- Provide daily performance management advice to line management and employees in areas such as coaching, counseling, career development, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Engage in necessary function training to enhance skills and experience that support personal career development.
REQUIRED
- Minimum of 8 years of HR experience in a generalist or combination specialist capacity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR Management, or a related field is required.
- SHRM/HRCI Certification is preferred.
- Master's Degree is advantageous.
REQUIRED
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other standard office software.
- Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, and Change Management.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional project team with minimal supervision.
- Confident decision-maker with the capability to challenge managers when necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud applications.
- HR experience within the Oil & Gas sector is a plus.
