Job Title: Director of Sterile Processing
Company: USA Health
Responsibilities
  • Provide primary leadership for the Department of Sterile Processing at University Hospital
  • Lead the strategic planning, operational excellence, and regulatory readiness for the department
  • Manage financial aspects and ensure quality management
  • Oversee the acquisition, decontamination, storage, and sterilization of medical supplies
  • Supervise department personnel, conduct performance evaluations, and manage inventory
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards and accreditation requirements
  • Support staff development and promote a culture of safety and excellence
  • Collaborate with the Perioperative Services leadership team

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing school and four years of experience, including two years in a supervisory role, with a current Alabama RN license OR completion of a related clinical program with six years of experience, including three years in a supervisory role. Previous experience in sterile processing is a plus.
