About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all major steel mill processes and products, with particular in-depth knowledge of Rolling process and technology, and solid understanding from a quality point of view.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Develop a Technical Team: Provide technical support for all Cold Roll Mill units, including timely and appropriate management.
- Process Performance Reporting: Responsible for regular reporting of Cold Roll Mill process performance to senior management.
- Quality and Environmental Commitment: Fulfill the responsibilities required to achieve the Quality Commitment and Environmental Commitment.
- Competency Management: Ensure working knowledge of competencies as defined in ISO, IATF, and ISO.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Operations Management field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a progressive leadership role.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to effectively work cross-functionally with various groups, proficiency in MS Office products, and working knowledge of SAP applications.
- Leadership Qualities: Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and implement improvement initiatives that increase business value, strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and ability to build strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
