Job Title: Business Development and Sales Specialist

Company: BioFire Diagnostics, LLC.

Description:

  • Develop and execute business plans to drive territory growth and increase new business revenue by selling instruments and reagents.
  • Maintain customer relationships to prevent lost business and coordinate sales activities.
  • Provide technical expertise during the sales process and deliver key sales presentations as needed.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key customers and opinion leaders to expand business and support product launches.
  • Carry out administrative tasks such as conducting business reviews, submitting reports, and updating customer records.

Primary Duties:

  • Create and execute business plan to achieve or exceed territory growth per company plan and drive new business revenue.
  • Develop strategy and individual responsibilities to close sales of all high-value targets.
  • Maintain existing customer business to minimize lost business.
  • Manage pipeline to ensure timing of closes matches Monthly Forecast & Quarterly Business Plan.
  • Coordinate activity of other field sales personnel in the context of a business plan.
  • Monitor sales for accuracy and adjust action plans to achieve goals.
  • Deliver effective Sales Call Management, Opportunity Management, Pipeline Management, and Forecast Accuracy.


Product And Technical Sales

  • Provide technical expertise and support in the sales process.
  • Support key sales presentations and communicate with customers on technical issues.
  • Collaborate with product specialists and internal teams to progress sales opportunities.


Relationship Management:

  • Develop relationships with key customers and opinion leaders.
  • Identify and develop key opinion leaders/reference sites.
  • Leverage relationships to expand business.
  • Channel competitive information and implement pilot projects with new product launches.


Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business reviews and submit expense reports.
  • Maintain customer records in CRM and update milestones regularly.
  • Achieve forecast accuracy on a monthly basis.
  • Perform all work in compliance with company policy and Quality System.

Training and Education:
Associates degree plus a minimum of 5 years of clinical diagnostic sales experience.

Preferred:
Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of clinical diagnostic sales experience.

Experience:
Experience in capital and reagent sales within clinical laboratory setting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
Knowledge of clinical lab operations is preferred.
Ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in technical information explanation and Microsoft Office Suite.
Sales competency training preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Requirements:
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with team members.
