Key Role:
C ond uct analysis of military mission capabilities using the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling
( AFSIM )
sof tware and support government studies and other warfighting analyses. Work on projects that range from short duration problem-solving to lengthy projects to understand and analyze complex warfighting scenarios.
Apply structured problem solving, operations research te chn iques, warfare modeling, and functional and mission level analysis to examine high-priority challenges.
Perform research and analysis tasks that will frequently require rapid starts on topics with limited established work, requiring development of new te chn iques or applying te chn iques to new problems.
Assist in educating government analysts on the latest methods and te chn iques for modeling and simulation.Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with modeling and quantitative analysis
1+ years of experience with independent work using the AFSIM
sof tware and modeling and simulation methods
Experience supporting DoD force sizing, shaping, and capability analysis
Experience with object-oriented programming languages and environments such as Python, Java, C++, C#, R, MATLAB, or Simuli nk
Ability to leverage problem solving for assigned tasks, and display a willingness to learn and apply new methods, as needed
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Te chn ology, Engineering, or Mathematics
( STEM )
field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137, annualized USD).The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
