Description
What Youll Do:
As the Sales Coordinator, you will have the pivotal role of supporting the daily operations of the Sales team to ensure they meet the hotels financial goals.
While supporting the Sales Managers in their administrative duties and acting as the go-between for catering and other departments, the Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
Here are just some of the tasks youll be responsible for daily:
Answer incoming telephone calls and emails, completing a lead form for all inquiries, and assist guests with questions, changes, and special requests.
- Compose tailored form letter appropriate for inquiry correspondence.
- Generate and distribute various sales reports and statistical analysis as requested.
- Log inquiry entries into Delphi FDC
- You will coordinate with hotel operations teams to ensure seamless execution of a group's stay.
- Type all banquet event orders and convention resumes with appropriate cover letters.
- Conducts tours of the hotel and banquet facilities.
Where Youve Been:
You have at least 2 years experience in sales; experience as a sales coordinator or in a hotel is a plus but not required.
If you are driven, organized, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills then this may be the position for you.
