  • JOB PURPOSE:

Provide clerical services on a part time basis to assist with critical processes performed by the Office of International Students & Scholars during the academic year.

The student worker will assist ISS staff in assembling admission applications from international applicants, collecting documentation from new & continuing students to comply with US student visa regulations, and updating the ISS website and social media accounts, and other duties as assigned.


PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY:

  • Cover letter, uploaded

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the processing of international admissions applications.
Assist applicants in submitting missing documents. Upload items into Slate admissions CRM system.
Complete GPA recalculations.

  • Support international student recruitment by communicating with prospective students and applicants.
  • Assist ISS staff in the preparation of admission decision packets for international applicants, as well as yield communication materials for admitted international students.
  • Collect, copy, and organize documents required from new and continuing international students for registration on the US ICE SEVIS database.
  • Maintain and update ISS website and social media outreach to prospective, new, and continuing students.
Assemble & distribute weekly ISS newsletter.

  • Support international student and TCK sponsored events as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE:
Approximately 10-15 hours/week to be done during business hours. Timing is negotiable.

RATE OF PAY:
$15.45/hour
