Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at MaineHealth. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating the psychosocial needs of patients and their families, and providing diagnostic, preventive, and treatment services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' psychosocial needs and develop treatment plans to address their needs
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate aftercare services and make referrals for community services
  • Supervise other social workers, students, or other staff as needed
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
  • Licensure by the Maine State Board of Social Work Licensure as an LCSW or LMSW-CC
  • Two or more years of work experience in a health or mental health setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team
