Insight Global is looking for a Financial Reporting Services Manager to support a client local to Richmond, VA.

This person is expected to work on-site 4 days a week in the Midlothian area, and work with a large scale of cross-functional teams supporting the state of VA.

There are many different pieces of financial reporting data that this team is responsible for and this reporting manager will need to have a bird's eye view on the data to see where discrepancies are to deliver solutions.

There will be two people on the team supporting this person to analyze the data and report back on structured solutions.

This consultant will be expected to have a customer facing personality, comfortable working with many teams, and have a heavy financial-services background (billing operations, accounting, remittance, payments, etc.).

We are hoping to find someone who has worked in finances in the managed services space since this team operates in a similar function.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Professional development/certs/some accounting understanding (need to know debit and credits and analyze large data sets)
  • Data analysis ability working within systems like Oracle PeopleSoft specifically (pulling data out of financial reporting)
  • This in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
-have an understanding around SPITA's in GASB

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-federal or state government experience
-managed services experience

  • Cardinal system experience
-any finance certs

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
