**Job Title:** Senior Accountant

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Careers Integrated Resources Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for performing and reviewing month-end close, analytical review, variance analysis, reconciliations, and day-to-day maintenance of the general ledger.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Financial Reporting:** Prepare and/or review revenue estimates, accruals, equity method investments, prepaids, and regulatory deferral/amortization accounting.
  • **Financial Analysis:** Calculate, analyze, and record monthly activity based on a solid understanding of the business and performance.
  • **Financial Statement Preparation:** Prepare and review financial reports (FERC and GAAP) to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformity to reporting and procedural standards.
  • **Accounting Principles:** Demonstrate a broad knowledge of U.S. General Accounting Principles (GAAP), practices, and procedures.
  • **Technical Skills:** Possess excellent computer skills, including strong proficiency using Excel (working with large spreadsheets).
  • **Soft Skills:** Exhibit effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, as well as strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • **Teamwork:** Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
