About the Position:

The

Manager, EDI

is responsible for overseeing the payment posting, clearinghouse and EDI rejections departments.

Responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to improve processes, promote operational efficiency, enhance the patient's experience, and meet regulatory compliance guidelines.

What You'll Do

:

Your contribution in this capacity is essential to our shared success.
Manage EDI operations for all RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) clients.
Oversee payment posting, clearinghouse and EDI rejections.
Provide guidance on EDI processes and procedures to staff and other internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare educational/training materials for staff to ensure ongoing growth and development.
Provide oversight of vendor performance related to all EDI activities.
Support provider enrollment with group enrollments, website access set up, and EDI/ERA and EFT (Electronic Funds Transfers) setups.
Work with others to process RAP's and other payment negotiation appeals.
Utilize various reports to manage daily workflows and proactively identifies key trends impacting department performance.
Serve as the primary escalation resource for issues relating to EDI.
Adherence to the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program
Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 3 years' experience in using medical billing software and electronic medical records.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Experience in working with reports, spreadsheets, and Excel.
Problem solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Possess strong organizational skills.
Understand HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) guidelines.
Strong Language Ability:

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Strong Mathematical Ability:

Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Strong Reasoning Ability:

Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
