Responsibilities

  • Engage with Business Owners: Collaborate with business owners in Finance and Operations to drive NetSuite-specific initiatives and manage day-to-day operations.
  • Issue Management: Oversee production issues, triage them, and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Business Cycle Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of Procure to Pay, Order to Delivery, and Order to Cash business cycles.
  • Prioritization and Support: Organize, gather, and clearly define priorities to support business needs within ERP and enterprise applications.
  • Functional Scoping and Solution Design: Engage in functional scoping, data integration discovery, and outline solution designs for execution by developers and consultants.
  • Administration and Customization: Responsible for administration, defining and implementing saved searches, and creating/modifying custom user roles to control access.
  • Feature Enhancements and Product Selection: Manage feature enhancements for the finance group and oversee new product selection.
  • Technical Oversight: Dig into code, scripts, and coach teams to ensure scalable solution delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead teams with clear priorities, effective communication, and a focus on driving outcomes.
  • M&A Activities: Participate in ERP technology and operational due diligence, integration planning, and execution for M&A activities.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years in IT or business/industry, with a strong drive to learn about new technologies.
  • 8+ years managing enterprise applications, including at least 5 years on the NetSuite ERP platform for businesses with over $100 million in sales revenue.
  • 8+ years of experience managing technical teams, optimizing costs through consultants and vendors where applicable.
  • Industry Experience: Preferably 2-3 years of eCommerce DTC and/or B2B industry experience implementing NetSuite as the ERP.
  • B2B Onboarding: Strong experience with B2B partner onboarding using EDI formats.
  • API Integration: Proven experience with API integration.
  • Finance Application Implementation: Experience implementing finance applications using enterprise apps.
  • Scripting and Administration: Knowledge of ERP solution scripting and administration.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Experience managing budgets, resource plans, and vendor contracts.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experienced in Agile delivery methods for user stories.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with the ability to lead and make decisions under pressure.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach.
