Responsibilities:


• Implement automation and electrical engineering designs for assigned projects, focusing on "SEE Electrical".


• Execute machine automation design and adaptation engineering using Michelin design standards.


• Manage electrical contractor or maintenance installation teams during equipment modifications and machine installations.


• Prepare budgetary estimates and bid packages for projects.


• Develop comprehensive project documentation, including schematics, safety risk assessments, maintenance and operator training documents, and user manuals.


• Communicate effectively with plant production & maintenance customers, other engineers, and suppliers.


• Order equipment and materials for assigned projects.


• Execute project automation design, including system component specification, implementation, start-up, and commissioning.


• Design control system architecture layout, control panel layouts, I/O assignments, and bill of materials.


• Develop PLC software to meet functional specifications and perform panel inspections on incoming equipment.

Required Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience


• Minimum of 4-6 years of Industrial Automation Engineering or Selling Automation and electrical panel design or systematic circuit


• Expertise in PLC programming from scratch- "cradle to grave", including, Ladder Logic, Structured Text Rockwell, Siemens, CAD design, and "SEE Electrical" is a plus


• Knowledge of Variable Frequency drives and Motion Control technologies, particularly Rockwell, Siemens, and Control Techniques.


• Experience with HMI configuration, programming, and communication, Variable Frequency Drives, Motion Control Technologies, Vision Systems(Cognex, Keyence, or Adept), Factory Talk/Factory Link, network interfaces, and Robotic programming(Fanuc or ABB).
