Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive automation systems adhering to the standards of Automation and Electrical Engineering, ensuring optimal solutions that align with functional specifications and cost-effectiveness.
  • Create detailed setup, installation, and commissioning guidelines.
  • Expertly configure and initiate individual automation components and program the overall system.
  • Design a robust architecture for the complete automation system.
  • Configure and activate automation systems, including components, controllers, drives, networks, and integration with supervisory systems.
  • Independently create, edit, and modify PLC programs.
  • Independently create, edit, and modify HMI programs.
  • Conduct risk and safety analyses throughout the design, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Facilitate design reviews with experts to validate the strength and optimization of proposed solutions.
  • Configure PID for servo loop feedback control systems.
  • Implement Level 1 control systems integrated with Level 2 supervisory systems.
  • Perform cycle simulations and offline programming for robotic systems.
  • Design and validate Ethernet network security measures in collaboration with experts.
  • Configure and initiate slave systems, including motion and non-speed regulation components.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in automation engineering.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in PLC systems (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Festo).
  • Experience in designing and commissioning Rockwell and/or Siemens controllers and HMI systems independently.
  • Expertise in advanced automation architecture design for machinery involving motion, HMI, and networking.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Rockwell: Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Background in the automotive sector.
  • Experience in the rubber manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of drive systems.
  • Ability to configure and tune drives using software from Rockwell, Control Technique (NIDEC), Siemens, or Festo.
