Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Billing and Invoicing: Generate and send out invoices and verify billing data. Process invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Payment Processing: Record payments and apply them to the appropriate accounts. Process credit card transactions and handle cash receipts.
  • Collections: Monitor overdue accounts and implement collection strategies. Communicate with guests and clients regarding outstanding balances.
  • Reconciliation and Reporting: Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and prepare regular reports. Assist in month-end closing activities.

Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficient in Excel, formulas, pivot tables, and vlookups.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and hospitality industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
