Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Resilience Policy Consultant to support the United States Air Force. A successful consultant demonstrates competency in client engagement, policy development in support of supply chain resilience concepts and methodologies, communications, research, and data analysis. Work is expected to be remote/telework allowed at client's discretion. Candidates in the Dayton, OH area desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provides program management support and serves as primary consultant for supply chain resilience and supply chain risk management (SCRM) activities supporting policy development for the Air Force Sustainment Center.
  • Serves as subject matter expert for organizational supply chain resilience policy, particularly for the DoD and USAF specifically.
  • Promote supply chain programs and share relevant policy updates and supply chain risk challenges and solutions.
  • Works collaboratively with USAF organizations and offices within AFSC in developing overarching supply chain risk management strategies.
  • Works collaboratively with project teams to design outputs of work products.
  • Communicates with clients through written reports and oral presentations.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in public policy, supply chain management, acquisition, or similar logistics discipline.
  • 2+ plus years’ experience in Policy, Acquisition, Supply Chain, Logistics, Intelligence, or Risk Management desired. Understanding of supply chain and supply chain policy concepts is critical.
  • Knowledge of applicable government supply chain regulations, legislations, and guides.
  • Experience in one or multiple of these areas:, conducting threat and vulnerability analysis, all-source intelligence gathering, integrating multiple data sources for policy analysis (i.e. NDAAs, EOs, Entity Lists, etc.) , understanding obsolescence planning and management and/or, industrial base assessments.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience in domains such as but not limited to security and counterintelligence, data collection and analysis, supply chain management, cybersecurity and risk management is desired
  • High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with senior executives from Government and industry.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance. Active SECRET clearance or Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) preferred.
