Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver program management assistance and act as the primary consultant for supply chain resilience and supply chain risk management (SCRM) initiatives, aiding policy development for the Air Force Sustainment Center.
  • Function as a subject matter expert in organizational supply chain resilience policy, particularly within the Department of Defense and the United States Air Force.
  • Advocate for supply chain initiatives and disseminate pertinent policy updates along with supply chain risk challenges and solutions.
  • Collaborate with USAF entities and offices within AFSC to formulate comprehensive supply chain risk management strategies.
  • Engage with project teams to create effective work product outputs.
  • Maintain communication with clients through written documentation and oral presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public policy, supply chain management, acquisition, or a related logistics field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Policy, Acquisition, Supply Chain, Logistics, Intelligence, or Risk Management is preferred. A solid understanding of supply chain and policy concepts is essential.
  • Familiarity with relevant government supply chain regulations, legislation, and guidelines.
  • Experience in areas such as threat and vulnerability analysis, all-source intelligence collection, integrating diverse data sources for policy analysis, obsolescence planning and management, and/or industrial base assessments.
  • Outstanding analytical and communication abilities.
  • Experience in domains including but not limited to security and counterintelligence, data collection and analysis, supply chain management, cybersecurity, and risk management is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated high energy, enthusiasm, and tact, with the ability to effectively engage with senior executives from both government and industry.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Capability to obtain a security clearance; an active SECRET clearance or Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) is preferred.
