Duties:

The Box Office Assistant carries out ticket sales and other transactions in person and by phone, is a point of reference for inquiries, and provides exceptional customer service. This position requires a flexible schedule since evening and weekend hours are required.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • 2+ years of customer service and cash handling experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel, etc.), Outlook email and internet; familiarity with ticketing software a plus
  • Motivated, self-directed; strong administrative and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Enthusiasm and passion for the arts
  • Available to work evenings and weekends.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
