Position Summary: In this role, you will collaborate within the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability communications team and across school units to support marketing, and social media, content development, and digital production.In this role, you will:
    • Coordinate and organize photography for high priority school events, support the production of videos (Dean’s messages, creative content) as needed, maintain YouTube page, help coordinate the annual photo contest, help develop workflows for new digital asset management system. Gather information to evaluate quality, process, and costs to support vendor selection.Manage logo suite for school and units, update and maintain identity guidelines on Intranet.Maintain the school’s five social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, Twitter), creating text and visual content for regular postings of research and school news; compile social media metrics, evaluate content effectiveness, make recommendations based on insights.Monitor the brand and voice of the school’s multiple channels and execute strategy for engaging the school’s internal and external audiences and lead targeted campaigns.Coordinate and monitor channels elsewhere at Stanford and globally for effective communication of school research, culture, and educational programs to a variety of targeted audiences including prospective students, prospective partners, policy makers, scientists, and the public.Assist the Senior Associate Director of Content Strategy in building newsletters, identifying topics for schools news, and updating events calendar and other pages as necessary.Support outreach and collaboration within the SDSS communications team, across school units, and with University Communications’ social media team as neededDemonstrate a commitment to promoting and supporting an environment of diversity and inclusion.Other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
    • Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.Demonstrated planning and/or project management and organizational skills.May demonstrate proficiency and creative or technical ability in a particular field.Ability to be self-directed and take initiative.

The expected pay range for this position is $34.62 – $40.87 per hour.Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position.
