Works closely with the director of corporate training, instructors, and corporate partners to ensure the successful planning, implementation, and evaluation of training programs.Required Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of corporate training programs.
  • Coordinate logistical aspects of training programs, including scheduling, room reservations, and equipment setup.
  • Communicate effectively with SMEs, clients, and internal staff to ensure the smooth execution of training programs.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of all training programs, including course builds, registration, attendance, evaluations, and client feedback.
  • Compile and analyze data to prepare reports on program outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of training program materials and resources.
  • Provide administrative support to the director of corporate training as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of local resources and labor market
  • Knowledge of computers and databases
  • Knowledge of computer systems, platforms and applications (preferably those related to higher education, such as Workday, Modern Campus, and Canvas)
  • Knowledge of human resource management
  • Knowledge of training frameworks, including needs assessments, delivery platforms, content development, andragogy, and budgeting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to accommodate varied training schedules
  • Ability to travel to visit corporate clients or attend meetings and training sessions
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to review and analyze data
  • Ability to market and promote corporate training to business partners in the community
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is required

At least 3 years of relevant experience is required

Preferred

Master’s degree is preferred.

5 years of directly related experience is preferred.
