Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our swim instructors and lifeguards, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to review the day's schedule, discuss any concerns or issues, and ensure the deck is prepared for the shift.
  • Evaluate the performance of our instructors and lifeguards, providing constructive feedback and coaching to help them improve their skills and achieve their goals.
  • Interact with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, address any concerns, and provide updates on their child's development.
  • Act as a liaison between our school and parents, ensuring open communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate tasks required to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our pool facility, including monitoring chemical levels and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Assist with the recruitment and training of new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two or more years of experience as a swim instructor or in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or training.
