THE WORK
Lockheed Martin RMS and Derco, a Lockheed Martin Company, are seeking a Subcontract Senior Manager (SCM) of the Derco subsidiary. As the Lead SCM for Derco, the selected leader will be responsible leading a diverse team of approximately 50 supply chain professionals who manage all pricing, executing and closeout of supplier purchase orders.

It is our mission to deliver affordable supply chain solutions that meet all program requirements and manage supply chain risks to ensure positive supplier performance through all phases of the program life-cycle from capture to sustainment.

The Derco portfolio includes numerous complex domestic and international suppliers, including new production/capture, sustainment, and spares.

• Drive all aspects of major subcontract execution (cost, schedule, technical, quality) and full integration of the subcontract work scope within the program, e.g. proposals, negotiations and contract execution
• As the Lockheed Martin and Program Management interface with the supplier, you will need to critically analyze a diverse set of issues, and communicate effectively to customers, Lockheed Martin, and supplier executive leadership.
• As the SCM leader, you will act as a key program team member providing guidance to program managers and other functions as it relates to supply chain and program strategies.
• Develop and implement SCM strategy for Derco for future growth

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years or related experience in Supply Chain, Program Management and/or Contract Management.
• Proven experience with demonstrated results creating and implementing SCM strategy
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), and Department of Defense (DoD) programs
• Ability to influence Lockheed Martin and supplier leadership teams as well as interface and brief status and issues clearly
• Previous professional experience in procurement/subcontract management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the defense industry including complex price and terms negotiations
• Experience with negotiating unique terms and conditions and contract changes with large suppliers
• Experience managing red/problem suppliers
• Ability to travel to program suppliers, both domestic and international
• Prior professional experience in Production, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, contract management or negotiation

Desired Skills:
• Experience with supplier litigation or other legal activities
• Direct Control Account Management (CAM) experience, including Earned Value Management (EVM), risk/opportunity management, and/or managing performance metrics
• Experience with Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) and negotiating large subcontracts
• Ability to interface with executive leaders and brief status and issues

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
