**Senior Financial Manager Required at Ogden & Company, Inc.**

Ogden & Company, Inc. is actively looking for a **Senior Financial Manager** to enhance our growing **Real Estate Firm** team. The chosen individual will be instrumental in managing the **Corporate & Property Accounting** functions for Ogden & Company, Inc. and its associated Real Estate entities. This role will entail overseeing the department's activities to guarantee the effective provision of accurate and timely financial information to corporate staff, site personnel, residents, and stakeholders, in alignment with the Company's objectives. Collaborating closely with the President, the Senior Financial Manager will be a vital member of the team.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

  • Direct and manage all aspects of Corporate Accounting, ensuring the precise and timely preparation of financial reports, including monthly statements, audits, and budget forecasts.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable functions for the organization and property portfolio, ensuring timely processing of invoices while emphasizing cost management and expense evaluation.
  • Maintain and verify the integrity of the general ledger and payment systems.
  • Support asset management tasks such as sales, refinancing, property insurance, cash flow management, and accounting for renovation projects.
  • Drive initiatives with Yardi/Real Page/Vantaca to improve operational efficiency within the team and organization.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team.
  • Monitor and ensure effective cash and treasury management practices.
  • Guarantee adherence to bank reporting standards, including compliance with loan covenants.

**Qualifications:**

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Real Page is essential, while familiarity with Vantaca/Yardi is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in multifamily property management or real estate is necessary.
  • Expertise in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and various financial systems.
  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Excel and word processing applications.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills within the organization.
